Research over the last few years has revealed that unrelenting job pressures cause two-thirds of healthcare professionals to experience the emotional, mental and physical exhaustion characteristic of burnout.

Unfortunately, relatively little is known about treating burnout in the healthcare profession.  Promising research, however, points to mindfulness, the ability to be fully present and attentive in the moment, as a possible remedy, with specific studies indicating that mindfulness training courses can help healthcare professionals become more focused, more empathetic and more emotionally resilience.

We provide mindfulness-based workshops, training and coaching for healthcare professionals designed to:

  • enhance focus and attention

  • enhance employee health and well-being;

  • strengthen clinician-patient relationships;

  • integrate a mindfulness approach into relationship-based care;

  • cultivate an organizational culture of care and communication; and

  • improve overall patient care.
